It was a nice break from the norm while my brother and his family were here visiting. They flew down from New York for Easter and left last night to go back home. It was a nice vacation while they were here but now I have to get back to my daily work schedule. The kids were in school during their week and a half stay because their spring break was the end of March, but we were all able to get together a few times to do some fun stuff.
Here we all are at Seaworld (except I'm not in the picture cause I was taking it :)

Also spent a little time at Cocoa Beach. I was so surprised at my youngest. He used to be so afraid of the water but this time I couldn't get him out:

Anyway, I hope to start some new projects soon, got a little sidetracked, but we all need a little time off now and then :)

Oh Lori. We have something in common. My daughter spent 2 years in Florida for her masters at U.C.F. and then moved to work in Maine at the University of New England. Crazy, huh? Virginia is about the half way point each way. We traveled a lot during those 3 years, and I am happy to say she finally settled here at Blacksburg, but both Maine and Florida are beautiful places to visit.
Ahhhh, sounds like a wonderful time for sure! Seeing the beautiful sunshine and beach makes me anxious for summer time. =] How wonderful that you all got to spend some time together. Sweet memories~
Seaworld Florida is on my wish list! My husband an I wanted to visit Florida but I was told it's not a good idea in July. Too hot? We're visiting Pennsylvania, Washington DC and New York City instead. My oldest son (7) didn't mind because he's afraid of visiting Florida. He thinks there's an alligator on every corner, waiting to grab and eat him.

What a wonderful break. I love the beach no matter where we are. It looks so warm:) -Steph-
Florida is definitely a great place to visit and live. I am a native and have lived in FL my whole life except for 2 years in Atlanta for college. It's great that your family had a wonderful visit in the "Sunshine State!"
Thanks so much for visiting my blog!! My father and my grandparents going all the way back 5 generations are natives of Florida. I have never been to Maine. Looks like everyone had a great time!!
What a handsome family you have! I just love Florida and can't wait to go back someday for vacation!
Thanks for visiting my blog!
What a beautiful family you have Lori! I have been in Florida this week but will be returning back home to Maryland tomorrow! I've enjoyed my visit and I have become one of your newest followers.
Great pics of your family. Thanks for posting my giveaway on your side bar - good luck!
