Blogiversary & Many Thank You's

It was one year ago around this time at night that I started this blog.  It was part of my new years resolution - to join a community of people who share my same interests, hobbies & lifestyle, to not be afraid to share my creations, thoughts & accomplishments, to record my family's journey in a new environment and especially to just make new friends.
I am so proud of myself that I actually committed to this project and so happy that I made the step because I have met so many wonderful people along the way.  You have all inspired me more than you can even imagine.  I lost myself many years ago when I left my career and decided to stay home to raise my four children.  I don't know if any of you have experienced losing yourself but it is not and has not been a pleasant experience.  I feel after this past year I am beginning to find myself again and want to thank each and everyone of you who have commented, shared, acknowledged & motivated me.
We gave up an old life when we relocated and took a big step to start a new one.  You have all helped me out tremendously on this new journey and for that I am grateful.
Here's to a new year and continuous new discoveries -
thank you and god bless:)

Losing yourself is one of the worst feelings a stay at home mother has. Beleive me, I live it every day. I just have to remind myself all the time of all my many blessings and I feel so much better. I also try and volunteer at the schools and do as much as I can for my family knowing that someday (someday) the kids will appreciate it all:) I love blogging because it helps me leave the house while never leaving the house. Ha ha. Plus, I feel like I am doing something for myself. My primy friends are the best. -Steph- Happy bloggiversary.

I understand the loosing yourself issue as well. I am finally feeling more organized and that I have a purpose now that we have begun renovating homes that need TLC again. It does help me be more organized with my time at home because I have some where to be at a certain time. The day the boys went back to schooland I was home alone after working for 7 years at the school my boys attended my hubby called me to see how my day was going and I started sobbing because "there's no one here that needs me".

Anyway, the point is I know that feeling and blogging was good for me for the same reason, though now I feel like I can't keep up for the time either lol!
