It has been so long since I posted! I really needed some major time off!
I have to admit, this was one of the hardest summers I had with my kids home.
They completely wore me out!
I knew I wouldn't have time to post so I just kind of gave up. I would jump on every now and then just to see how all of you were doing but not for very long...
my time was consumed with my four little ones and then some!
This is the first time in twelve years that I have not had a child home with me.
The first day was very emotional. I have to admit, yes I missed them but I think it was
more about, "I can't believe I have waited so long for this and now it's actually here!"
My oldest has started middle school and my youngest is now full time...yeehaw!
Now it's all about finding me.
Not to sound selfish, but I feel I have lost myself so much.
I wasn't sure where to start out, but today I went online and saw many of your blogs. I absolutely love Fall and you all have inspired me to get moving...whether decorating, painting, sewing...I just want to do what I like to do for right now.
Oh believe me, I am still way to busy to fit in everything, but I am going to try and take some time out for myself while I have the peace and quiet:)
I do want to mention one more thing. I won this giveaway back in July and I want to say "Thank you" to Patti of Winding Vine Wanderings
Hope to be back soon!
Enjoy your day:)

On the bright side you will have a bit of spare time to explore some things now. The hearts you won are sweet.
Oh my goodness and I only have two kids. Remembering when they were little ones with everything going on, I know I wouldn't have had time to blog. You'll be able to have your time now :)
Blessings,
Carol
Well hi Lori. 'So glad to hear from you. Yes, the nest may be empty now, but as Terra said you will now have more "me time". I am so ready for Autumn also. 'Seeing many pretty things on the blogs. The giveaway you won is so cute :)
That's great you took some time, we all need that.....Love the giveaway win, so sweet, Francine.
Congrats Lori! You made it! Unfortunately what seems like "the whole day to get --- done" will turn into "ah! They are going to be home soon and I got nothing done!" before to long. Yes take some time for yourself everyday, mothering is draining.

Lori, it is an adjustment getting used to your kids being in school, but when you get used to it you will enjoy your you time. Congratulations on your winnings. Hugs, Lecia
Hi Lori! Thank you for entering the blog hop! We are kindred sisters indeed. I also have 4 little ones and they are all now off to school. It is a very emotional experience. I used to think it would be great and I would have all this time but the first few days the house was as silent as a tomb and I couldn't work lol. All I can say is that you will eventually adjust and the quiet time will be your muse to seek out on your adventures as I have. Your a good mom!
